Fair Trade Puget Sound is a coalition of community groups, businesses, NGOs, faith communities, students, and individuals who have come together to increase the availability and consumption of Fair Trade Certified coffee within Seattle and throughout the greater Puget Sound area. They hope to make Seattle the first Fair Trade City in the United States.

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international non-profit organization devoted to encouraging the responsible management of the world's forests. FSC sets forth principles, criteria, and standards that span economic, social, and environmental concerns. FSC standards represent the world's strongest system for guiding forest management toward sustainable outcomes. In 1995, FSC-US, located in Washington, D.C., was established as the national "chapter" of FSC.
National Wildlife Federation

Founded in 1936, the National Wildlife Federation seeks to mobilize its members to preserve and protect America's wildlife. NWF works on issues at the global, national and regional level, including land stewardship, water resources, wildlife conservation, globalization, global warming and population. To preserve migratory bird habit in Latin America, which is being increasingly converted to sun-grown coffee plantations, NWF has teamed with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters to sell a blend of Fair Trade, organic, shade-grown coffee.
TransFair USA

Founded in 1998, TransFair USA is one of nineteen members of Fairtrade Labelling Organizations International (FLO), and the only third-party certifier of Fair Trade products in the United States. TransFair USA audits transactions between US companies offering Fair Trade CertifiedT products and the international suppliers from whom they source, in order to guarantee that the farmers and farm workers behind Fair Trade Certified goods were paid a fair, above-market price.
